“Letters came crowding into art, handwritten and typographic, some real and commonplace, some illegible, fantastic,” wrote Nicolas and Elena Calas in “Icons and Images of the Sixties,” a book that traces modern art movements, including the then-new “Letterism” of Rauschenberg, Dine, and Jasper Johns.

My quest: inspired by Letterism, to create powerful, personal, affordable paintings at the intersection of graphic design and fine art. I work directly with clients and through interior designers.

You are part of the process -- of making art that is meaningful to you.

You choose the theme or suggest the words. We’ll talk about mood, imagery, placement in the room, color.

If possible, I’ll visit the space, measure, match colors, and discuss framing options. You’ll receive a digital proof and we can make adjustments before the art is digitally imaged on canvas.

Each painting is a signed, one-of-a kind piece, created for you and your home only.
